How to return a TAPI instrument

When you are shipping instruments back to our headquarters please remember: You must ship the equipment in an TAPI approved container  and pack as follows:
  • Put the shipping screws into the analyzer. (A Series only).
Severe damage can be caused by not installing the shipping screws. This damage is not covered under warranty.

  • Improper shipping containers and/or packaging can result in damage to the chassis and an expensive repair. Putting an instrument in a box with styrofoam "peanuts" is not a proper shipping container.

  • Pack permeation tubes correctly.
Do not ship an analyzer with the perm tube installed. If left in the analyzer, permanent damage to the pneumatics could result. It is recommended to ship the perm tube in its original packaging.
